We have introduced the ability to highlight assets requiring additional data/information before analysis and diagnosis can be completed.
To mark an asset as Analysis pending
When additional information is required to complete the analysis, you can mark an asset as Analysis pending using the dropdown menu accessible by clicking on the three dots, at the top-right of the Reason for analysis box, in the asset detail view page of Enlight Analyze (see Figure 1 below).
Figure 1. To mark an asset as Analysis pending
To remove Analysis pending
Once the required information comes in, you can use the same dropdown menu to uncheck Analysis pending in order to remove the Analysis pending label on the asset (as shown in Figure 2). The pending state can also be toggled off automatically when a new report has been created on the asset which was marked as pending.

Specify what needs to be done via Action, Priority and Instruction
When marking an asset as Analysis pending, you have now the option to select an action, assign a priority level and write an instruction to specify which action is needed, how important is it, and other details needed on this asset before you can resume and complete the analysis (see Figure 3).
Figure 3. The pop-up window for selecting the action needed with priority and instruction
Available actions
You can choose one of the following actions from the drop-down menu (see Figure 4):
- New measurement
- Visual inspection
- Peer review
- Asset information
- Maintenance information
Priority for the action can be set at High or Low.
Figure 4. Select an action and set priority
After saving, a summary of what you've created is shown on the Asset log section. In this summary, you can now see that the asset is marked as Analysis pending, what action is needed, which priority is assigned to the action, and what instruction is given to perform the action (see Figure 5).

Respond to an Analysis pending request by adding comments and uploading files to the asset
For assets that are marked as Analysis pending, you can add comments and attach files (see Figure 6). We support text, images, audio, and other common document formats such as pdfs, spreadsheets, etc. This is the comprehensive list of supported file formats:
- Text: text (generally ASCII or ISO 8859-n), CSV (comma-separated values)
- Audio: waveform audio format, MP3
- Image: JPEG, JPG, PNG, WebP
- Video: AVI, MP4, WebM
- Application: pdf, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Excel (OpenXML), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Word (OpenXML), Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft PowerPoint (OpenXML), OpenDocument presentation, OpenDocument spreadsheet, OpenDocument text, Rich Text Format (RTF), ZIP archive

View and filter on Analysis pending assets
If you want to see the pending assets, you can select Pending assets only in the All filters drawer (Figure 8). As a result, the list view of the Analyze section will be populated by pending assets only (see Figure 7). When hovering over the Analysis pending sticker with the mouse, you can check the time when a particular asset was marked as pending.
Alternatively, when you want to focus on other assets, the Exclude pending filter (Figure 8) can be used so that the asset list shows only assets that have not been marked as Analysis pending.

The filters can be found in the filters drawer (see Figure 8) which can be accessed by clicking the All filters button above the asset list. Upon selection, the list corresponds to the selected option and shows the assets matching the correct pending status.

Print the list of Analysis pending assets
Once you filter Analysis pending assets by selecting Pending assets only in the filter drawer (Figure 8), you have the option to print: a Pending list button (see Figure 7) appears on top of the asset list, you can simply click on this button and print out the current list of Analysis pending assets.
For each asset in the list, information such as which functional location it belongs to, asset name, action, priority, and instruction will be printed out (see Figure 9). This print-out list can be used as a To-do list.

View pending assets in Reports
Pending assets are also highlighted in the Reports section.
The pending asset status is indicated by an hourglass icon, which can be found right under the asset's last collected date in the list panel to the left (see Figure 10), while in the asset detail panel to the right, the same pending status is indicated by the Pending asset sticker with both the same icon and a label. You can find it in the asset overview, below Asset name and "Data collected for <Month>", sometimes it follows a Fault draft sticker as in the example below. They can also be included when creating CSV or PDF reports.

There is also a Report status filter on the Reports page (see Figure 11). The Pending asset filter option can be used to narrow down the asset list and show only the pending assets.

Streamline Detection, pending assets & how to remove the pending state
Streamline Detection has also been updated by adding support for pending assets.
Pending assets will not be handled automatically by Streamline Detection until the Pending state is removed. The pending state can be toggled off manually by removing Analysis pending from the asset (see the section above: To remove Analysis pending), otherwise when a new report is created on the asset, the pending state will be removed automatically.
