Sort assets within a route
AnsweredI think this feature should be implemented as it's necessary when working with big routes. We are working with a customer with 700 assets and without this it's impossible.

Today in Enlight when you create a route you see a list of functional locations. This list is in hierarchy order. You then select which functional locations / assets / points to include in your route. You then have the ability to change the order of the selected functional locations so that they are no longer in hierarchy order, but in an order which is more convenient or logical for collecting measurements.
You write that you have 300 assets in a route. When you talk about 'sorting' do you mean sorting the list of functional locations when making your selection, or sorting the list of functional locations in the route after making your selection?
Or if your comments are about ProCollect, then I do not see why the inspector would want to sort their assets. Do they not just want to move from the current asset to the next asset?
Best wishes

Are you on about in Procollect? then yes this is something I can see posing an issue with large routes, the current layout on the phone apps is not ideal.

Just a clarifying question. Is there 700 assets total in the Hierarchy or 700 assets in a route that then is synced to ProCollect?

Hi, I can answer that question, there are 700 locations in the hierarchy, the routes will be perhaps 300 machines per month, we understand the problem of making such large routes, but we believe that enlight has a lot of potential for this, as does our client too.

Hi Martin, I mean sort assets within functional location. Thanks.

Thank you for your feedback.
Could I ask you to clarify whether this is a question about the Routes tab in Enlight, and if so whether you want to sort assets before they are added to a route, or after they have been added to a route. Or whether the question is about how assets are shown in ProCollect?

Hi,
It is a question about Enlight Centre (route tab).
This is really important when you need to work with a huge database and very long routes. It's a matter of time and efficiency.
Thanks a lot.
