Setup - machine templates

Standard machine templates and setup needs to be prioritised to build machines in the data base. It would assist with also the implementation of automation for diagnosis and reporting.

  If the topic refers to the fact that we need a library or a data base with machine models/templates, then I vote yes for that.
  If I do create a hierachy for one single client then copy/paste of asset is doable, but if I have 10-15 clients to build up hierarchies then I need to recreate at least each type of machine again in order to copy it.

  Costel Maftei,

  a drag and drop template system is used by another vendor where you build the machine by component, I think SKF observed has the same? drag a motor then connection type (Belt chain coupling) then the driven machine pump-compressor-gearbox etc.
